The Artist Author: Barbara Wiborg

Why does the artist sign his painting? To show the world
who created it. His work of art is a part of him, an outward expression of
who he is. His masterpiece is the best of himself, shared with the world.
he is proud of what he has created. It matters not, where that painting is
hung. It forever belongs to the artist, and his signature reminds us all
of that. I have created a masterpiece. Her name is Naomi Victorie
Rose. She is the outer expression of my inner self, a work of art, the
best of who I am. My signature is written all over her. In her eyes and
smile, in her laughter and tears, on her nose and her toes, in her
interests and talents, in her courage and fears, in her genes and DNA, and
most important, in her heart and soul. She may "belong" to others in her
lifetime; her parents, her husband, her children, but she is my
masterpiece. My signature proves that, and I am proud to be the artist."
