About Michele

At 28 years Michele Curtiss is FirstMom to 5 year-old Kelly and full time Mom to Jonna, 9 and Lucas, 16 months. Michele is the publisher of FM Magazine and also Owner/Director of A Heart to Heart Adoption Connection a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships to birthmothers wanting to continue their education and solely helps other women considering adoption, or who have already relinquished. "When I decided to place I knew I made the right decision, it was just afterwards when I realized adoption was not the fairy tale world a lot of adoption professionals made it out to be. I do not regret placing I just regret who I chose to work with when making an adoption plan, they definitely did not have my best interest in mind."

Michele's Work

Michele can multi-task! She is the owner of her own successful car dealership, mommy to two beautiful children, full time wife, and if she’s not at the car lot, or at home with the babies, you can find her at her office located in her town of residence, Grove City Ohio.

Michele founded Heart to Heart Adoption Connection in 2002 when she realized that very few in the adoption industry were actually representing or looking out for birthmothers or those considering single-parenting. After applying for a non-profit status, spending over $50,000 in marketing and advertising, and obtaining office space, Michele accomplished her goal. Her program offers several amazing features:
