Across the sky around the moon carried on a a lovely tune.
My mothers voice soft and low reminding me of long ago.
I hear her voice drift down through space her every word helps to erase all the years in unison to when the two of us were one.
My mothers voice a gift of grace my soul recalls her last embrace.
Although we've lived our lives apart her voice has never left my heart.
